Pig God Rises

While I was thinking about how to create the best game environment to experience the projectile mechanic in, I had started to think about the role of the pig within the game world and what types of challenges that the player would face. Before I knew it, I had sculpted an entire world in my head where the pig god rules the kingdom from the temple on top of the mountain. I started modelling the temple to see how it felt as a place to start (and end) the game in. For the architectural style I wanted blend a range of elements from different cultures to create something that would feel believable without leaning too far in any one direction. I experimented with the recurring design element of the archway, using it to shape the pavilions, tunnels and doorways.
